QHHT Information:

What is QHHT?

QHHT stands for Quantum Healing Hypnosis Technique.

It was created by Dolores Cannon, a renowned hypnotherapist, author, and speaker, and a pioneer in hypnosis, particularly in the area of past life regression and consciousness exploration.

What makes QHHT different?

QHHT works with what Dolores called the subconscious, often referred to today as the Higher Self.

  • Sessions are done in theta brainwave state, which we naturally enter when falling asleep and waking up.

  • Because of this, QHHT feels very natural and deeply relaxing.

  • The practitioner does not lead or influence the experience.

  • The client’s Higher Self determines what is shown, based on what is most relevant to their life right now.

For this reason, QHHT is not only past life regression.

Experiences may include other lifetimes, present-life memories, symbolic or abstract experiences, or something entirely unexpected. Whatever occurs is considered appropriate for where the client is currently at.

What is the purpose of a QHHT session?

The focus is not on escapism or curiosity alone, but on understanding the root of what a client is experiencing.

People come in with intentions related to:

  • personal patterns or blockages

  • emotional or life challenges

  • health-related questions

  • clarity, insight, or deeper self-connection

The practitioner’s role is to facilitate a safe, judgment-free space, while the client connects directly with their own inner wisdom. This is why QHHT is often described as an empowering modality; the answers come from within, not from an external authority.

How important is openness going into a session?

Very.

It’s often said that a large portion of what someone receives from a session is influenced by how open and trusting they are of the process.

Having questions prepared beforehand is strongly encouraged. This helps clarify your intention and often begins the connection to your Higher Self even before the session starts.

What is the session experience like?

  • The day is unhurried and centered around you.

  • Time is taken to build trust between client and practitioner.

  • The hypnosis portion of the session is recorded.

The recording is considered an important part of the session. Many people gain new insights when listening back, and some are guided to listen to it periodically to support integration or healing.

Will I be aware during the session?

Yes, and this is normal.

Being aware is not the same as being awake.

Once your eyes are closed and the hypnosis begins, your brainwaves are already shifting. Some people remember their session clearly, others remember very little. Both are valid experiences.

The key is to relax, allow, and trust the process rather than trying to “do” anything.

Should I have expectations?

It’s best to leave expectations behind.

Neither the practitioner nor the client knows what will unfold beforehand. Each session is unique and tailored entirely to the individual through their own Higher Self.

One of the most common post-session benefits is recognizing the inner power and clarity already available to you.

Is QHHT meant to be done multiple times?

QHHT is generally designed as a single, comprehensive session.

Some people may feel called to explore another session later, but if they do, it’s typically after a significant integration period. Time is important to fully absorb, process, and integrate what was received.

TL;DR:

  • QHHT (Quantum Healing Hypnosis Technique) was created by Dolores Cannon and works with the Higher Self through deep theta-state hypnosis.

  • Sessions are natural, relaxing, and client-led. The practitioner facilitates, but your Higher Self guides the experience.

  • QHHT is not limited to past lives; each session unfolds based on what’s most relevant for you right now.

  • Openness, intention, and trust play a big role in what you receive.

  • Feeling aware during hypnosis is normal.

  • Sessions are recorded and meant to be integrated over time.

  • QHHT is typically approached as a one-time session, with additional sessions only after a meaningful integration period.
